Notice of temporary closure due to change of management company and hotel renovations

Due to a change in management, our hotel will be undergoing major renovations from April 1, 2026 to November 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the hotel will be temporarily closed during this period.

Please note that even during the temporary closure, we are accepting reservations for stays beginning after our grand opening in December. The entire staff is sincerely looking forward to welcoming you to our newly renovated hotel at the grand opening.

The appeal of the newly reborn "THE ALPS HOTEL HAKUBA"

Opened in 1971 in the Hakuba Norikura area as a pioneer of the ski boom, the Hakuba Alps Hotel will be reborn this winter as "THE ALPS HOTEL HAKUBA".

Located in the Hakuba Norikura area, which is closer to nature than other parts of Hakuba and blessed with high-quality powder snow in winter, the hotel will retain its luxurious "ski-in/ski-out" environment, with renovations focusing on guest rooms and public areas, transforming it into a mountain resort hotel that people from all over the world will want to visit all year round.

1. Warm and inviting public areas and a wide range of activities

The lobby and other public areas have been renovated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can relax after enjoying the great outdoors. In addition to the popular outdoor pool, sauna, and hot spring facilities, a new "Club Room" equipped with a jukebox and billiards table, as well as a "Childcare Center," are planned. Ski rentals and a ski school are also available directly at the hotel to support a comfortable snow-related lifestyle.

2. A variety of dining and bar options available to non-visitors.

The hotel's main dining area features an "all-day dining" restaurant open to both hotel guests and non-guests. For lunch, you can enjoy curry and Western-style dishes befitting a mountain resort, while dinner features grilled dishes, primarily charcoal-grilled steaks. Furthermore, a spacious "bar" is also available, perfect for enjoying drinks with friends.

3. Nine types of guest rooms to suit your travel style.

The hotel offers a total of 10 room types, from the spacious "Alps Suite," which can accommodate up to 7 people, to the "Standard Double," which is perfect for solo travelers or couples. In addition, we also have "Dog-Friendly Rooms" where you can spend special time with your beloved dog amidst nature.
