Terms of Use

To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, the hotel has established the following rules pursuant to Article 10 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these rules may result in refusal of accommodation or use of hotel facilities in accordance with Article 7, and you may also be held liable for any resulting damages.

Guest Room Use and Safety

Upon arrival, please review the evacuation route map and familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency exits on each floor.
Use of guest rooms and overnight stays is limited to registered guests only.
While in your room and when sleeping, please ensure that the door is locked and the security latch is engaged.
Minors may not stay without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Pet Policy (Important)

Assistance dogs, including guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs,are permitted throughout the hotel.
Guests bringing pets are requested to observe the following rules.
In public areas outside guest rooms, including the lobby and corridors, pets must be kept in a carrier or on a short leash at all times.
Pets are not permitted in the restaurant or public baths.During mealtimes and similar occasions, please keep your pet in its cage in your room.
If a pet causes damage to hotel facilities or furnishings, soils the property, or causes damage or inconvenience to other guests, the guest will be responsible for the actual costs of cleaning and repairs, as well as compensation for business interruption during any period in which the room or facility cannot be sold.

3. Fire Safety and No-Smoking Policy

The use of open flames in guest rooms for heating, cooking, or any other purpose, including candles and portable gas stoves, is prohibited.
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is prohibited throughout the hotel, including guest room floors and inside guest rooms.
If smoking in a guest room is confirmed, including cigarette butts left behind or lingering smoke odor, a special cleaning feewill be charged together with compensation for lost room revenue from the following day onward due to the room being taken out of sale. Compensation starts from JPY 30,000 and will be calculated based on actual costs plus the equivalent room charge for the number of days the room cannot be sold.Please use the designated smoking area.

4. Hakuba Resort Etiquette

To help prevent damage to the floors and reduce the risk of slipping, please do not walk around the hotel in ski or snowboard boots outside designated areas.
Please do not bring skis, snowboards, or wet clothing into your room. Please use the designateddrying room (ski locker) instead.

5. Lost and Found / Safekeeping of Items

Lost Items:Cash and valuables will be kept for 7 days, including the day they are found, and will then be turned over to the police. Other items will be disposed of after one month. Food and beverages will be disposed of on the same day, and magazines and consumable items on the following day.
Items Held for Safekeeping:Items may be stored at the front desk or cloakroom for up to one month. After this period, they will be treated as abandoned if no intention to collect them has been indicated.

6. Parking

The hotel assumes no responsibility for theft or accidents in the parking lot. Please do not leave valuables in your car and keep them with you at all times.
Please cooperate if staff ask you to move your vehicle during snow removal or similar operations.

7. Prohibited Conduct and Photography Restrictions

ambling, threatening or intimidating behavior, excessive noise, and any conduct that may disturb or discomfort other guests are strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized photography in public areas, photography for commercial purposes, and photography that infringes on the privacy of other guests are prohibited.

8. Payment

Please settle your bill at check-out.
Please be aware that a deposit may be required upon your arrival.
If we ask you to settle any charges during your stay, please make payment at that time. If payment is not received after a request has been made, you may be required to vacate your room.
