Terms of Service

To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, our hotel has established the following rules based on Article 10 of our Accommodation Agreement. Failure to comply with these rules may result in refusal of accommodation or use of facilities, in accordance with Article 7 of our Accommodation Agreement, and may also result in you being held liable for damages.

1. Guest Room Use and Safety Management

Upon arrival, please check the "Evacuation Route Map" and the emergency exits on each floor.
We strictly prohibit the use of guest rooms and overnight stays by anyone other than registered guests.
Please be sure to lock the door and engage the door guard (latch) while you are in your room or sleeping.
We do not allow minors to stay without parental consent.

2. Rules regarding bringing pets (important)

Assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs) are welcome in all facilities within the building.
If you are bringing a pet, please observe the following rules.
When moving around in public spaces outside your guest room (lobby, corridors, etc.), please always keep your pet in a cage or on a short leash.
Pets are strictly prohibited in the restaurant and public baths. Please leave your pet in a cage in your room while you are eating or relaxing.
If pets cause damage or soiling to facilities or equipment, or cause harm to other customers, you will be charged for the actual costs of cleaning and repairs, as well as compensation for lost business during the period of business suspension.

3. Fire prevention and smoking ban

The use of open flames (candles, portable gas stoves, etc.) for heating, cooking, or any other purpose in guest rooms is strictly prohibited.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building, including on guest room floors and inside guest rooms, including the use of e-cigarettes.
If smoking is detected in a guest room (including leaving cigarette butts or leaving lingering odors), a special cleaning fee and compensation for lost revenue due to the suspension of room sales from the following day onward will be charged (actual cost + number of days sales suspended × room rate). Please use the designated smoking area.

4. Manners at Hakuba Resort

Please refrain from walking around the building in ski boots or snowboard boots outside of designated areas to prevent damage to the floors and the risk of falls.
Please do not bring skis, snowboards, or wet clothing into your room. Instead, please use the designated drying room (ski locker) within the hotel.

5. Handling of lost and found items and items held for safekeeping

Lost and Found: Cash and valuables will be kept for 7 days including the day they are found, and then handed over to the police station. Other items will be disposed of after 1 month (food and beverages on the same day, magazines and consumables the following day).
Items left in our care: Items can be left at the front desk or cloakroom for a maximum of one month. Items left after this period will be treated as if you do not intend to retrieve them.

6. Parking

The hotel assumes no responsibility for theft or accidents in the parking lot. Please do not leave valuables in your car and keep them with you at all times.
Please cooperate if staff instruct you to move during snow removal work or other similar operations.

7. Prohibition of disruptive behavior and photography

Gambling, intimidating behavior, excessive noise, and any actions that may cause discomfort to other customers are strictly prohibited.
Please refrain from unauthorized photography in public spaces, photography for commercial purposes, and photography that infringes on the privacy of other customers.

8. Payment

Payment is required upon departure.
Please be aware that a deposit may be required upon your arrival.
If we request payment for any charges during your stay, please pay each time. Please note that if payment is not received after we request it, you may be required to vacate your room.
